What is the difference between BMI and BMR?

BMI is your body mass index which measures your body fat base on your height and weight.

BMR is your basal metabolic rate which determine the number of calories you need for your body to function daily at a resting rate base on your gender, age, height, and weight.

Once you have your BMR, you can multiply it by 1.2 (sedentary) to get your recommended daily calorie intake.
